Tidal Bridge BV signed a Head of Agreement together with the Ministry of Public Works of Indonesia and the Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) at the Kurhaus Hotel in The Hague.

The Head of Agreement defines a roadmap for the joint development of the Palmerah Bridge in Larantuka strait. The feasibility study and ground braking of the project will be done this year. The bridge and integrated power plant will be installed at the end of 2018 while the extension of the powerplant up to 80 MW will be realized in 2020.

This project is part of the maritime cooperation agreements between Indonesia and The Netherlands. These were also signed at Friday 22nd of April 2016 by the Indonesian President Joko Widodo and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte.
